Dr Nicklin trained in the UK in general and
plastic surgery before moving to Australia for a further 7 years training as
a plastic surgeon which allowed him to become a member of the Australian
Society of Plastic Surgeons and a fellow of the Royal Australasian College
of Surgeons, the only statutory recognised body for plastic surgery training
in Australia. This additional 7 years training is your assurance of plastic
surgery expertise.
He is a consultant plastic surgeon at Prince of
Wales and Sydney Children's Hospitals and director of hand surgery at Sydney
Hospital. His ongoing contributions
to plastic surgery research and training include leading both clinical and
laboratory based research at UNSW, presenting regularly at national and
international meetings, publishing articles in plastic surgery journals and
training surgeons in Australia and overseas. He values excellent surgical
